123.7 Change loan status[//]

It is possible to change the loan status of an item:

·                In AFO 111 or 423, on the Item detail entry, for a single item, option Modify status

·                In AFO 123 by a global change on a savelist of items

In addition you can select a loan status and attribute or delete it by scanning one after one the barcode of a set of items, without going to each item's holding record, with this menu option of AFO 123.

After selecting this menu option an input form will be displayed:

Select a valid Loan status code from the dropdown list. Alternatively you can leave this blank. In that case a message will appear:

meaning the current loan status of items processed will be reset to 'empty'.

After clicking OK, an input screen will appear:

The selected loan status code will be displayed in the header portion (or a dash if no code is selected).

You can now start scanning barcodes.

If the Loan status change can be done, the system displays “Successful” in the Status column. If the Loan status change cannot be done, the system displays “Not valid” in the Status column.
